Response to a polygynous post

I think that your advice is good for the woman whose man wants a second wife. I think that she should probably hold the horses and chill a bit. If she is not for polygamy then a couple of things are going to happen either he is going to lie and say hey babe you're the only one for me, and poof he changes his mind at some point in time and does it on the down low or something else like that, so completely good advice on her slowing her roll and being aloof about it. As for those who feel that it isn't for them then more power to you even in the polygyny accepted Islamic, Mormon, Jewish, Polyamorous California world Most people are monogamous or at least serially monogamous (Date, breakup, date breakup, etc) Polygamy is an institution that promotes collectivism and social stability as opposed to individualism and social narcissism. It is outdated for us in the West because we are of an individualistic narcissistic mindset. We are all about the I. A cursory look at the responses posted here opposed to polygamy is all in reference to what is best for me. He's my man, this is my stuff, etc I, I, I. The only justification is WIIFM, "What is In It For Me"! Whereas in polygamy it is all about the whole what is in it for ALL of US. Polygamy goes deftly wrong when a man embarks on it with an individualistic mindset. "I" am going to have multiple wives. That situation almost always crashes and burns. It is not about the man it is about the health of the society. Any man thinking it is about him is wrong and any woman thinking it is all about the man is wrong. It is or should be a collectivist union for the betterment of the society. Aversion to Polygamy is natural but unwarranted. Polygamy also makes men better! Imagine this a man with 4 Kamala Harris' as wives or 4 Elizabeth Warren's or 4 Oprah's or Ruth Bader Ginsberg's. He would be a F***ing Juggernaut intellectually and completely unstoppable because of what situations he would have to keep juggling at all times. He would beat almost any other man all day every day and face it he would be incredibly attractive (whether he actually was or not). Denouncement of polygyny also fails to acknowledge the current social atmosphere that is opposed to single people getting together for long substantive relationships, to begin with. Feminism, LGBTQ, #MGTOW, #METOO, Hookup Culture and the coming trend of women earning more than men to name a few (Think College graduation statistics). These are all potential spouse eliminating belief SYSTEMS in our society. Couple that with negative population growth for whites and increased incarceration rates for Blacks and Latinos and the reality of the pool of fish becomes ever smaller. There are no good men, no they are married and have been proven to be all that you want and need. Polygamy is the responsible solution, the alternative is the down low and pack of lies and cheating. Finally, women don't have a problem with polygyny, they have a problem with misrepresentation. If men are true in word and deed they don't have problems it is only when men don't do what they say they are going to do that the problems arise.
